Snap to it!

C'mon people!

I expected a much better response to my amazing end-of-year competition to win an advance copy of Nobody's Girl plus poster and bookmark. I've had four entries so far (two of them from the same person) and it's really not worth my while going to my publishers to plead for prizes if no-one's that interested in entering.

I'm extending the closing date to 11th January in the hope of attracting a few more takers. Writing a five line limerick, or heck, a haiku only has 17 syllables shouldn't be that taxing. It's not like there's much on telly!

So anyway, you know what to do. I don't like using my stern voice this early in a new year.

Live on

Sarra x

Does that mean that if no more people enter there won't be a winner? xo

There was was a young woman named Sarra,
Who dropped fashion labels and brand names like manna,
I started Un Sticky on the 21st of December and by the 1st Jan, it was all over!!

By the way, I really hope I win this or your publisher is kind and gives you a few sets for almost medical reasons!
I have to get my 13 year old cousin away from the Twilight fixation/Edward Cullen obsession and think distraction with something new and shiny could be the perfect medicine!

She’s the nobody
always ignored, neglected.
The nerd, freak, loser.
She doesn’t have any true friends.
Just more mocking in the end.

I guess im not much for writing poems, I do more of short stories. =]

I wanted to get lost and then I found you and you made me complete
I felt my insecurities hit me full on like a savage attack and felt that for once that did not matter for I had you in my life
Suddenly all the problems did not hurt anymore for there was just you and me in this world that, which I loved because of you.
I never thought the world could attack us,
And I was naive to believe that you would never hurt me
Though you were my rock... you shattered in front of my eyes
And your perceptions...and your idealistic view of the world and its inhabitants, was nothing but a fast.
//
I think it could be reffed to isable..and Smith and how..let down she felt by Him after he broke up with her...and i loved the title..."Lets get lost" i feel that lines signifies life in general..with it complications

There once was a boy called Smith
Whom Isabel thought was a dish
Her feelings were strong,
but they didn't belong
As his feelings for her were a myth.
